If you already have a trusted pet sitter, call her as soon as you can to make reservations for the dates you’ll be gone. If this is your first time leaving your pet with someone, do your research first. Ask neighbors for recommendations (or see if they’ll take care of the pet for you) or search online for reputable pet sitters.
